Jae Sung Chon is a designer and an educator. Jae-Sung Chon studied urbanism (UCL), housing (McGill), architecture (Manitoba), architectural engineering (Yonsei), and his current research focuses on ‘posthuman/cyborgian urban condition and interiority’. He is working on a research-based Ph.D. in affiliation with the Department of Geography at the University College London (UCL).

Since 1996, Jae-Sung has been a full-time faculty member of the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba. His teaching focuses on Environmental Design, Housing, and Urbanism. Chon has taught design and architecture internationally including Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, Berlin, and London.

Jae-Sung was the founding partners of DIN Projects (1995) and OS1 Architecture/Design (2005). In 2010, Chon initiated Studio for Transformative Urban Forms and Fields (STUFF), a design-development studio to align design in the broader context of the environment. His works have been recognized in a number of publications including AZURE, DWELL, Canadian Architect, Western Living, SPACE, and Archdaily.
